Thank you, OC Latino Link readers.

This will be our final post.

One thing is certain in the news business – change is a constant. And now  it’s time for us to move on.

The main reason is a refocusing of our energy. As you’ve noticed, the Orange County Register is placing more of its resources into its print products. The  contributors to the OC Latino Link blog – Theresa Cisneros, Michael Cisneros and Ron Gonzales – are all a part of that effort.

The blog, born nearly two years ago, was very much a creation of the community it was created to serve. We came up with a variety of options for improving our online coverage of the Latino community of Orange County, and a blog was the preferred option of readers we met with.

More than 1,300 posts later, we will continue to keep the blog alive in the sense that you’ll still be able to read the content that was originally published here.

While this is our last post on the blog, this isn’t the end of our relationship. Along with our other local coverage, we’re committed to providing you with news of Orange County’s Latino communities.

You’ll be able to find it on the “Latino Link” section of  ocregister.com/news.  The direct link is  ocregister.com/latinolink.

So as we leave the blog behind us, we’ll also leave you with our last OC Latino Link song pick of the day.

“Las Golondrinas,” sung by Pedro Infante.

Enjoy!
